Staff Biographies

Gregory Taranto, CPA CPA and Financial Professional     Greg is a Certified Public Accountant and Financial Professional. He was born in Flushing, NY and moved to Flemington, NJ in 1972.  He graduated from Rutgers University in 1986 through it's Honors Program where his research project was published in 1985. After 5 years at J. H. Cohn & Company, Greg became a partner in PLP in Trenton, NJ.  In 1995, he began this firm to provide the quality of services similar to larger firms with the emphasis to detail and reasonable prices second to none. Greg is a registered representaitve of American Portfolios Financial Services.  He offers investments, annuities and life insurance to his tax and estate. Greg is a member of the Knights of Columbus JC3294 in Flemington. He has served on various non-profit organization boards throughout his career.  He is a parishioner of St. Magdelens Church for over 20 years. Terri M. Ramey, CPA Senior Tax Manager for Small Businesses and Corporations Terri is a Certified Public Accountant who joined the firm in 1999. She is the Senior Tax Manager for Small Businesses and Corporations.  Terri is responsible for all business client registrations for state compliance, including sales tax, multi-state income tax allocation and annual reports. Deborah Fodera, EA Senior Tax Professional/Reviewer of Personal Tax Returns/Info Sys Mgr/Public Relations Mgr IRS Enrolled Agent, Tax Advocate and Manager/Reviewer for personal, trust, estate, gift and fiduciary income tax returns. She has 17 years experience in Accounting and Taxation - Twelve years with HR & Block in both New York & New Jersey. and five years with Taranto & Associates,  Financial Services & CPAs. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Pace University.  Her major was Accounting and Information Systems. As an IRS Enrolled Agent, Debbie is a federally-authorized tax practioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation.  She is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections and appeals.  Only Enrolled Agents, attorneys and CPAs may represent taxpayers before the IRS.  Enrolled Agents are the only taxpayer representatives who receive their right to practice from the U.S. government (CPAs and attorneys are licensed by the states).  tarantoassociates@att.net
Kristin Christie Senior Business Accountant Kristin is a Small Business Specialist for our small business and corporate clients. She has been an associate with Taranto & Associates since its inception in 1985.  She assists many local businesses with their recordkeeping and tax compliance.  She is an expert with Quickbooks and Peachtree accounting software. Chris Webber Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor Chris joined the firm over 4 years ago.  She specializes in Quickbooks Accounting, Training and Support for small business owners. As the accountant and small business owner for the past 20 years for her family's business, Chris as a unique perspective for the needs of both the client and the firm.
